The only thing that was a problem was the motor hub cable plug being up behind the bottom bracket next to the controller. I managed to unplug it so that I could pull enough cable back out to remove the wheel. I converted to tubeless. It was good practice for the next time the rear wheel needs to come off. I wish the plug was outside the frame, but I see why it was done this way. I've been on a few rides so far. One ride I did a climb test to see what the effort feels like and range of battery for me. I found that I could get about 1,000 feet of elevation gain and use about 38% of battery. I only needed level 3 power assistance. If I use levels 4 or 5, the motor will use the small 252Wh battery rather fast. So my advice is use the gears to get up those hills or headwinds. I would get a range extender battery if it would charge while plugged into the bikes wiring. It would be a bit of a bother to dig out the plug end from inside the frame just to charge it every time.

CF Racer1 in Rainbow Black. You simply cannot buy a better bike with this level of specs, quality and fit and finish for the price. The Rainbow Black paint job is crazy with it changing hues as the light hits it. The SRAM Rival 1 group set gives quick and crisp shifts. Hidden cables and wires at this price? Zero adjustments were needed when I got the bike. Take it out of the box, assemble and ride. Crazy light at 27lbs for the road version. Hurry up and buy one before R1P realizes what they have and raises the price! Nice job R1P, very nice job.

This bike is a true delight. It is lightweight, good looking, and fast. Full carbon with the exception of the wheels for $2300 is bonkers. I have put over 150 miles on it since I got the bike. It has been such a fun bike. Size 56cm fits my 5’11” frame perfectly. If you want to see more on this I have a few video @RunBikeMike on YouTube. I also installed 50mm tires and went tubeless.

The CF Racer is further proof that Ride1Up will tackle any type of ebike. The CF Racer out-specs anything at or near this price-point. The SRAM components perform well, the display is packed with data and of course the light weight means you can ride it with no assist at all. The only real downside here is size so if you don't fit one of the two sizes you're out of luck. But if you do, well your bank account will thank you. What size (if applicable to your purchase) did you purchase and how did it fit you? : 56cm, fits my 5 foot 10 inch body after setting the seat post to correct height.
Thank you for your detailed review, we appreciate it.

Thank you for the review Jim, The rainbow black really shines in the sun. We take pride in being able to provide quality products at a fair price.
Great bike! Good for recreation, new or advanced riders. You will need an add on battery for trips over 30 miles plus. Ps I put sealant in the tubes.
Thank you for you review, Jesus.
Best investment I’ve ever made. I have many bikes(50) , but the cf racer allows me to ride on days I am sore, tired, or high winds. The battery last 2 bars 40% for a 4 mile round trip going thru all the levels mostly 2,3. Leaving me with 60%. I will buy the add on battery for longer trips. I also added sealant to the tubes for punctures.??
Not that heavy looks good at a super affordable price
Thank you for the review, Ricardo.
